“Teaching remotely, learning together”
Our classes have a 1 to 8 teacher to student ratio, which we believe is important in order to provide dedicated attention for each student, and which allows friendships to be forged with the entire class. Our virtual classrooms are a safe, open-minded environment where students are able to freely share their ideas and challenge perspectives.
“A diverse range of activities and opportunities to help students find their passions”
Our goal is to support the learning and development of the child through engaging classes, identifying their true potential through talent and enrichment so that we can help shape them into the future leaders of tomorrow.
These 3 foundations are enhanced by the so-called
Master Classes
an exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience not to be missed! Based on students interests and demands, we arrange special online events with extraordinary international talents to inspire and impact the lives of our students. This may be joint music jam sessions or sharing the stories of their lives that brought them to where they are today. Because of the special effort and resources we need to invest, these classes are at an additional, individual cost which may vary very much depending on the talents.
“Helping students today become responsible digital citizens of tomorrow”
As we know by now that we live in an age of exponential technologies, it will be crucial that our kids understand the role and impact of technology. At the same time it must be clear that it is only a means to an end and that our lives shouldn’t be dominated by technology. Therefore it is also necessary to understand the chances, but also the limits and dangers of exponential technologies as we all experience them more and more - if we want or not.
Technology is an integral part of our lessons, it’s a basic foundation and necessity to deliver and empower the best learning experience possible. At the same time the children learn not only how to use the latest technology but also start to understand what are the underlying schemes and patterns how technology works. They learn a natural understanding of technology, but also where the “power off” button is and when and how it is also necessary to turn it off. This gives the sovereignty and freedom to cope open-minded but also with a clear understanding of how to cope with the grey areas of technology. We are empowering our students not only to be technologically adept - but also independent.
From a practical perspective, we are integrating the latest technologies from the EdTech sphere, we make learning simple, productive and seamless. As an example: from a 3-dimensional geography lesson on a computer animated model to complex weather simulation projects with real-world relevance to show how the climate change affects the world.
The natural curiosity and exploratory mind of a child is triggered with a desire to learn more and engage. Continued adoption of these technological practices will enable children to acclimate themselves to the emergence of even newer technologies and adapt their critical thinking skills.
“Inspiring generations of global citizens, and helping them realize their power to build a better future”.
From First Lego League to Outdoor Survival, we provide numerous opportunities for students to further develop themselves both inside and outside the classroom. Part of our educational toolkit is to apply moon-shot thinking, which is thinking to embrace the future.
Through our Talent & Enrichment Development (TED) Program, students are able to further develop the foundation of key STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, Maths), in addition to other disciplines, which are crucial in today’s world. Some examples of our co-curricular courses include:
All of the above activities are group sessions with a minimum of three students in any one activity, but may also be booked as private one-to-one sessions with the instructor.
We have also partnered with some of the world’s leading institutions, research facilities and experts in the field to bring you our MasterClasses, which are an exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience not to be missed! With live streams from some extraordinary individuals, directly from their stage, research lab or expedition base camp, the students will gain valuable insights into the work that is making an impact on the planet, and inspire them to make their own difference in this world.
“Creating lasting memories through class coherence and social skills”.
Our distinctive Impact Camps are short, highly intense gatherings for 1-2 weeks, taking place every semester at different times throughout the year. These camps are voluntary to attend, and open to all of our students as it contributes to their development by providing the opportunity for deeper social bonding, class coherence and further improvement in their interpersonal, social presentation and cognitive behaviour skills, which are critical during the stages of adolescent development.
Our Impact Camps follow a reversed boarding school model, where instead of spending every day at the school, they will spend every day of the camp duration meeting their global classroom friends in real life, create stronger friendships, make lasting memories while exploring new countries and cultures and still taking away key learning lessons. Being a globally mobile school, we do not see disadvantages, we only see opportunities as we have curated the best of both worlds to design a leading school approach with future-oriented classes and the freedom for both parents and children to live an independent life(style).
“Delivering inclusive education to all”
Learning may not come easy to all children, which is why with the help of our learning support program, we can continue to enable our students to develop their potential to the fullest. Our support structure addresses the unique needs of that individual with adapted curriculum, and different delivery of instruction to ensure the student is able to meet the educational standards of LemanX.
